Members of Apple’s supply chain have started to produce components for a 12″ Macbook Air and the Apple Watch. Sources in the supply chain say that the Macbook will be launched in Q1’15, while the Apple Watch will enter production at that point. Quanta has been named as the Macbook manufacturer.
Panel makers in Japan have lowered quoted prices to Chinese vendors for smartphone panels, to compete with Chinese and Taiwanese companies.
