Image:BBCPanasonic has shown a flexible battery at Ceatec that could be used in wearables such as watches, fitness bands and smart-clothing. It is a low capacity device and is 0.55mm thick, with a maximum ‘bend’ of 25º. The company said performance is maintained after repeated bending. The battery will ship soon.
Sky Deutschland has said that it will shut down its 3D channel in mid-2017 as consumers are more interested in UltraHD. Sky in the UK has already closed down its 3D channel.
