Dell is to sell its software business, ahead of its acquisition of EMC (Dell Pays $67 Billion for EMC). The company is selling the division to Francisco Partners and Elliott Management. A price was not shared, but Reuters – which broke the news – claims that the deal is worth more than $2 billion.
