HTC achieved a 27.7% year on year rise in sales in February to NT$9.2 billion ($292.1 million), though this was 25% lower than January’s result. Last month’s total brought sales for the first two months of 2015 to NT$21.5 billion ($682.5 million), up 27.3% from the same period of 2014.
Taiwanese touch panel manufacturer TPK Holdings reported a 34% year on year fall in sales in February to NT$7.3 billion ($231.7 million), though this was almost 4% higher than January. Czech broadcast network operator Ceske Radiokomunikace has begun a second test of DVB-T2 with HEVC, following a trial last year (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 28). This test is expected to last until February 2016.
