UK distributor, Ginsbury, has said that Kyocera is extending the backlight lifetime specification on 26 of its LCD modules to 100,000 hours. Sizes are from 4.3″ to 12.1″. Ginsbury said that the enabler for the boost is the improved efficiency of the LEDs.
