HTC has sold a plant in Taoyuan, in Taiwan to Inventec for NT$6.06 billion (US$184.5 million) at the end of December 2015. However, the firm has denied reports that it has put its HQ up for sale.
MCS TV (Altice Group), of France, has chosen to use Ateme’s Titan software compression solution for its new UltraHD channel. The channel will be launched on cable and optical fibre networks in France, before crossing borders later this year.
