Windows 10 Mobile is now available for older Lumia phones. Only phones that will receive an upgrade to the user experience – i.e., installing Windows 10 will not slow them down – are eligible. These include the Lumia 430, 435, 532, 535, 540, 635 (with 1GB RAM), 640, 640 XL, 735, 830 and 930.

Taiwan-based supply chain sources claim that Xiaomi will delay the launch of its first notebook (previously rumoured to be 15″, most recently said to be 12.5″) until Q2’16 – one quarter behind the original schedule. Volume production will begin in May and it will be launched in June at the earliest.
United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) reported net profit of NT$3.16 billion ($96 million), a decline of 30% YoY from NT$4.56 billion. Turnover was NT$33.85 billion ($1.03 billion), a 9% decline from NT$37.24 billion ($1.12 billion). For the full year 2015, net profit was NT$13.45 billion ($403.5 million). Turnover for the period was NT$144.83 billion ($4.35 billion).
