The president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association, Gary Shapiro, has been named as a 2015 Tech Titan by Washingtonian magazine. Cisco has named Chuck Robbins as the company’s next CEO, with effect from 26th July. Robbins has been with Cisco since 1997, most recently serving as senior VP of worldwide operations. The company also announced that current CEO, John Chambers, will assume the role of executive chairman.
