BLU Makers Have Mixed Fortunes in May

Taiwan’s main backlight unit (BLU) makers, Radiant Opto-Electronics and Coretronic, reported mixed results in May. Radiant Opto’s sales for the month fell 8.3% sequentially to NT$2.9 billion ($93.7 million), just 0.8% higher than April.
