New VoD Service Scraps Geo-Locking

A new VoD service called Pantaflix will be launched in Europe and the USA on the 28th July, by Pantaleon Entertainment. Unlike rival services, Pantaflix will deal directly with producers, without involving sales companies or distributors. This means that revenues for content creators will be higher, says Pantaleon, and that content will not be geo-locked.
