A US company called eSight has developed glasses using OLED displays that bring sight to people who are registered legally blind. The glasses use a high-speed camera and patented video processing software as well as the OLED displays (which have a very fast response time). eSight glasses are currently in the prototype stage.
Archimedia’s Atlas media player has been updated to v3.1.1, enabling playback of UltraHD content at 60fps. HDR and multiple formats are also supported.
