Universal Display (UDC) has signed an OLED Technology License Agreement with OLEDWorks, a US-based light engine and panel manufacturing company, granting non-exclusive rights to manufacture and sell phosphorescent OLED lighting products. Mitsubishi’s LED projection cubes have replaced six mercury lamp-based cubes in Bulgarian Television’s (bTV) news studio. Rear-lit DLP cubes have been used on the This Morning set since 2006; the new LED models will reduce running costs. They were installed by local integrator Universal K.
