Asahi Glass to Expand PVC Production in Vietnam

Asahi Glass will expand its polyvinyl chloride (PVC) capacity at a local subsidiary in Vietnam by 50% by early 2016. Annual capacity will reach 150,000 tons. In addition, the Vietnamese unit will increase procurement of a PVC precursor from another Asahi subsidiary in Indonesia, according to the Nikkei.
