Dutch artist Edo Draaijer has launched a new blog (http://tinyurl.com/qy99buw), where he demonstrates art created exclusively using Baanto’s Shadowsense touch technology. Shadowsense can distinguish between brush sizes and can sense the deformation of the brush to reflect pressure.
Nanotech continues to expand the content in its Ultraflix library, having recently signed a licensing agreement with Paramount Pictures. Paramount has given Nanotech permission to host the 2014 film Interstellar.
Microvision has received an $8 million license fee payment from its Fortune Global 100 partner – commonly assumed to be Sony (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 15). The firm said that it has received $18 million in orders, shipped since December 2014, as well as its licence fee.
