Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) reported a net loss of NT$3.6 billion ($115.2 million) on turnover of NT$56.4 billion ($1.8 billion) for last year. The company shipped 455 million small and medium sized panels, of which 160 million were for smartphone-use, a year on year improvement of almost 40%. Tablet-use panels accounted for 43 million units, representing a 15% global market share and vehicle display shipments improved 37% YoY to 10 million panels.
