HTC’s CFO, Chang Chia-lin, has said that the company is likely to raise its smartphone outsourcing orders to ODM partners this year. The move will be made to cope with emerging market demand.
Radiant Opto-Electronics expects backlight units (BLUs) for smartphone applications to represent between 20% and 25% of its consolidated revenues in the second half of the year.
