Wisechip Semiconductor is sending PMOLED display samples to partners, for use in wearable products. Mass production is scheduled to begin in the second half of the year. The company aims to produce 5mm-thick flexible displays by 2017, compared to prototype 40mm-thick units today.
Semiconductor sales continue to grow, with the global industry posting a YoY increase for the 23rd consecutive month in March 2015.
