Asbis Adds Dell in CEE
Asbis has signed two distribution agreements with Dell which cover the company’s complete range of products, including laptops, PCs and monitors. Dell’s enterprise products and solutions will now be available in Bulgaria and Cyprus. Asbis already offers Dell’s products extensively across the Central and Eastern Europe region.

London Hotel Invests in LG
As part of a £1.4 million investment, the Grosvenor House hotel in London has installed 10 LG displays in a 5×2 video wall. Pure AV installed the 47″ screens, which have a 4.9mm bezel width and 1920 x 1080 resolution.
iPhone Case Harvests Energy From Radio Waves
Nikola Labs, from Ohio, showed a new iPhone case at TechCrunch Disrupt this month, which harvests power to extend battery life. The case ($100) will debut on Kickstarter in June. Wisechip Begins PMOLED Sampling
Wisechip Semiconductor is sending PMOLED display samples to partners, for use in wearable products. Mass production is scheduled to begin in the second half of the year. The company aims to produce 5mm-thick flexible displays by 2017, compared to prototype 40mm-thick units today.
