Spanish Pay-TV Rises

Spanish regulator CNMC has shown pay-TV services in the country added 1.4 million subscribers in the last year. There were 5.4 million subscribers at the end of Q1’15 – a 36% rise from Q1’14. Movistar Plus, the combined entity resulting from the merger of Movistar and Canal Plus, was a significant boost to the market.

Tru-Vu has developed a 21.5″ medical monitor with a procap touchscreen. The MMZBTP-21.5 conforms to the UL 60601-1 3rd edition medical safety standard, and is designed for use on in operating rooms, on medical carts and in OEM medical systems. LG Promotes OLED With Massive Video Wall

The world’s largest OLED display – actually a video wall, but still very impressive – has been installed in Incheon International Airport in Seoul. LG supplied 140 55″ screens for the curved wall, which measures 13m x 8m. LG installed the screeens with French firm Wilmotte & Associes, to promote OLED technology.
