Six industry publications presented awards: AV Technology, Commercial Integrator, Digital Signage, Government Video, Sound & Video Contractor and Systems Contractor News. Australia Relies on Holo-Gauze at Eurovision

Holo-Gauze has said that it supplied the technology to enable Australia’s live performance at the Eurovision Song Contest this year. Three screens were used: two 3m x 5m behind singer Dami Im and one in front of her. The screens were transparent and were used to display holographic-style effects during the show.

Ignis Signs Patent License With LGD

Sony Ends Manufacturing in Brazil

Sony has decided to stop making smartphones in Brazil, which was being done through deals with Foxconn and Arima. The company took the decision due to a lack of fiscal incentives and the poor economic situation in the country. From now on, Sony will only sell imported phones in Brazil.
