UDC Takes BASF’s OLED Portfolio

Universal Display Corp. has acquired the OLED IP assets of BASF SE. These include more than 500 issued and pending patents worldwide, in 86 patent families. The purchase price is approximately €87 million. The deal was executed through UDC Ireland Ltd.
