We heard at CineEurope that Barco had partnered with Reel Cinemas in Dubai. What was not announced at the time was that one of the auditoriums will be using the Barco Escape solution, which puts projections screens on three walls to surround the audience. The installation will be completed in time for the July launch of Star Trek Beyond. An Escape auditorium is also being installed in Egypt’s largest multiplex – Galaxy Festival City Cinemas, in Cairo – in the same timeframe.
