Kudelski Performs Well in First Half

The Kudelski Group, which develops the Nagra conditional access system, has shared its first half results. Total revenue grew by 11.6% YoY, to CHF481.8 million ($502.5 million), while operating income was down 6.9% to CHF33.4 million ($34.8 million). Nikkei: Panel Prices Rising on Low Inventory

Japan’s Nikkei newspaper says that inventory shortages are causing the price of LCD TV panels to rise, especially in 42″ and smaller sizes. IHS has reported similar news in recent months.
