Eizo has a new DCI-4K 31.1″ monitor, the CG319X, which has support for HDR (HLG and PQ curves supported) for high end video and photo editing. Colour support is 98% of DCI-P3 and 99% of AdobeRGB and the unit is a development of the previous CG318-4K. There is an integrated colour sensor for calibration and calibration can be performed even if the monitor is being used. Contrast is 1,500:1 from the IPS panel and brightness is 350 cd/m² although calibrated brightness is 120 cd/m². Response time is 9ms and 10 bit input is supported with support for a 3D LUT. The backlight has been described as ‘wide-gamut LED’.
There are dual DisplayPort inputs and dual HDMI with support for HDCP. There is a USB hub.
The monitor has a wide range of special functions and modes for different colour modes including REC2020, REC709, DCI, PQ_DCI, PQ_REC2100, HLG_REC2100, Adobe RGB, sRGB and Calibration. A special feature marks the image wher clipping is occurring.
The monitor supports Eizo’s ColorNavigator NX quality control software and ColorNavigator 6.
