DreamVision of France has announced a new Helios laser phosphor projector that has a DCI 4K three LCOS engine based on 0.69″ LCOS panels. Brightness is rated at 3,000 Ansi lumens and is intended to support screens up to 10 metres wide (16fL). The projector has dynamic contrast and will support both PQ and HLG HDR content. There are dual HDMI 2.0b HDCP2.2 inputs with support up to 18 Gbps. Colour support is quoted as “BT.2100” which is Rec. 2020
The projector will start shipping in December.
