Modal Looking to Global VR

ModalVR has developed a system to support multiple (up to 10) players in arcade or theme park VR experiences. Modal VR claims the system can track users across 900,000 sq ft (83,613 sq m). The company has been founded by Nolan Bushnell, the founder of Atari. The system used a central processor (the Fabricator) which can talk to up to 10 headsets and full-body tracking suits. Fabricators can be networked to connect more users. Headsets are wireless and have rechargable batteries for “hours of use”. They have 3D audio and microphones for communication.
