Nomdvic has launched its flagship 4K ultra short throw triple laser TV projector, the P2000UST-RGB. The new projector is now available for purchase on Amazon, priced at $2,999 (it is also discounted on the company’s website from $3,299.00 to $2,399.00).
The P2000UST-RGB features 4K resolution with HDR10 and HLG support, along with a 0.22 ultra short throw ratio. It should deliver a 100-inch cinematic display experience when the projector is placed as far as 6.8 inches away from the wall. The device employs ALPD 4.0 (advanced laser phosphor display) triple laser technology, delivering a brightness level of 2500 ANSI lumens and a full 100% BT.2020 color gamut. ALPD, from Apptronics, is commonly used in high-end home theater projectors, commercial cinema projectors, and other specialized display applications where high image quality is crucial. Launched in 2018, this latest iteration of the technology has a wider color gamut, reaching about 98.5% of Rec.2020, and is claimed to be 30% more efficient than the previous generation.
As an all-in-one home theater solution, the P2000UST-RGB comes with dual Harman/Kardon customized speakers, incorporating both Dolby Audio and DTS decoding. The projector also incorporates Nomdvic’s AI image optimization technology, which includes 4-corner adjustment, warping adjustment, and MEMC frame interpolation technology.
