Severtson Screen has carved out a nice business in the cinema screen market where their foldable SAT-4K screens offer a nice lower cost option over non-foldable options, allowing international shipping from its US manufacturing base. This folding ability can reduce the cost on international shipping by up to 70%, claims the company.
The SAT-4K and SēVision 3D GX line of cinema projection screens are also offered with their microperf technology. These smaller perforations in the screen allow more clear area than larger perforations (7% vs. 4.5%) and have better high frequency response and no moire. Specifications include:
