We took some time this week – a traditionally slow part of the year, where everything is just ‘ticking along’ – to visit Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris. The show was described to us back in 2009 as “a niche of a niche”, although the show has grown – covering 7,000m² and with record pre-registrations – so that summary isn’t exactly accurate any more. The event used to focus on airport terminals, but has branched out into security, audience metrics and passenger and luggage movement tracking.
Passenger Terminal Expo 2015 was held at the Porte de Versailles; a large venue with several halls, which was being used for six separate shows when we visited!
Next year’s event will take place in mid-March in Cologne, Germany.
