Sources in the Taiwan supply chain claim that Sony is developing smartphones (plural) with a metal-alloy chassis. These phones will be produced by Foxconn, with the chassis likely to be supplied by Foxconn Technology. Sony will launch the products in 2015.
The UK’s DTG Testing is now trialling the functionality of the D-Book 7 v4. Redd Hastings, the CEO of Netflix, has predicted that traditional linear TV services will ‘disappear’ within 20 years. Hastings made the comments to French magazine Telerama.
