Sony has appointed Hiroki Totoki as the new president and CEO of Sony Mobile Communications, replacing Kunimasa Suzuki who has been made executive VP of Sony Entertainment. The announcement came as Sony released its second quarter results and lowered its smartphone outlook for the year (see Finance Results in this issue).
