The European Commission has launched a public consultation on future uses of the UHF (700MHz) spectrum (http://tinyurl.com/nnzcomc). Specifically, the EC is seeking views on Pascal Lamy’s proposals last year (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 35), that the spectrum be switched to wireless broadband by 2020.
