Media Markt and Saturn List on eBay

Media Markt and Saturn in Germany have expanded their multi-channel strategy and are now selling electronic goods through eBay. The retailers have around 93,000 products listed on eBay. (eBay has had a lot of strength in Germany as a channel, even when other online commerce sites were struggling – Man. Ed.)

Acer’s Annual Sales Lowest in 7 Years

Acer reported its lowest annual sales since 2007 for last year, decreasing 8.4% year on year to NT$329.8 billion ($10.4 billion). EC Launches UHF Consultation

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on future uses of the UHF (700MHz) spectrum (http://tinyurl.com/nnzcomc). Specifically, the EC is seeking views on Pascal Lamy’s proposals last year (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 35), that the spectrum be switched to wireless broadband by 2020. The consultation will run until 12th April.
