Vestel Elektronik recorded a net profit for the year of 104.1 million Turkish Lira (TRY) ($40.8 million) on turnover of TRY7.7 billion ($3 billion), while in the previous year the company saw a net loss of TRY93.5 million ($36.7 million) on turnover of TRY6.2 billion ($2.4 billion).

Microsoft is increasing its orders to Chinese smartphone makers, as it switches away from Taiwanese manufacturers, say supply chain sources. The company has apparently made the shift to reduce its costs. Truly Optoelectronics is expected to be one of Microsoft’s main suppliers in 2015.
