TV and Smartphones to Drive 3D

Allied Market Research (AMR) has predicted that the global 3D display market will be worth $112.9 billion by 2020, with a CAGR of 26.8% from 2014. More than 65% of revenue will be contributed by TVs and smartphones; AMR predicts that half of all TVs will have 3D by 2018. Stereoscopic and auto-stereoscopic will remain the preferred types of 3D display. The firm also expects many OLED products to use 3D technology, with a CAGR of 46.9%.
