City Outdoor has won a tender by Newcastle City Council to install and operate a double-sided, large-format full motion screen in the UK city. The screen will be live in September and will be placed on Northumberland Street, lending it the name Northumberland Street Live.
Truly Optoelectronics expects to begin AMOLED production at its own facility in Q1’16. The Chinese company has said that construction of the G4.5 fab will be completed in June, and equipment will be installed in October. Monthly output will be about 15,000 substrates.

Sony devices have been used in a succession of four cataract surgery procedures, which were filmed and broadcast live in 3D at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons’ (ESCRS) Winter Meeting in İstanbul. The operations used one MCC-3000MT and dual PMW-10MD 3-chip CMOS cameras, as well as an LMD-3251MT 3D monitor.
