Panasonic is seeking to transition its touch panel production completely to vehicle applications by 2020, say sources quoting Japan’s Nikkei newspaper. About 70% of Panasonic’s touch business is dedicated to vehicle applications today. According to Nikkei, Panasonic aims to generate ¥20 billion ($165.9 million) from the touch business by 2019.
