Westgate in Vegas Creates Huge LED Display

RP Visual Solutions and Christie have created a curved array measuring 20 feet (6m) tall, 220 feet (66m) wide and comprising 1,640 2.5-millimeter Christie Velvet LED tiles (more than 65 million pixels). The installation is said to be “the world’s largest LED Video wall” and is at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.

KT Selects Ericsson AVP 4000 Encoders

Korean Telecom(KT), the nation’s largest IPTV operator, has chosen Ericsson’s AVP 400 MPEG-4 HD system encoders to enable 20 new HD channels over the next three years. Korean Telecom chose Ericsson’s equipment because of superior picture quality and lower transmission delay in it’s delivery. Ericsson’s equipment will reduce KT’s encoding delay to 700 ms.

Intel’s to Adopt 10nm from 2017
