NEC Plans Facial Recognition at JFK

NEC America is working with Unisys to implement its face-recognition technology at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. The NeoFace Match software will be integrated into Unisys’ existing system, and will be used by US customs officials to compare images taken during the inspection process with the image stored on traveller’s e-passports.
