Visionect has collaborated with Soofa, a spin-off from the MIT Media lab, to create a solar-power e-Paper display that provides real-time information on local events and City services at Boston’s pedestrian epicenter, Samuel Adams Park, located outside of Faneuil Hall. The sign is completely self contained and can be moved by simply removing and installing four bolts. Content is updated using 3G wireless. The display is a 32″ colour E-Ink-based display from Visionect. The unit will be installed in Cambridge, Ma and later in other cities.
