LG‘s first 2018 OLED TVs started to appear on Amazon, with the 55″ C8 OLED showing up with pricing of $2,500 (below the LG expected price of $2,999), but had disappeared by the time that we took a look to confirm it! However, pricing on 2017 models is down again with the 2017 model down to $1,696 and the 65″ down to $2,596.

MMD has a new 27″ monitor that it is selling under the Philips brand. The 272B8QJEB monitor is a QuadHD 2560 x 1440 unit with an IPS panel producing 250 cd/m², optimised for sRGB. Contrast is 1,000:1 and response is 5ms (GtG). The panel is said to be 10 bit, with 12 bit processing for smooth gradations.
Inputs are FGA, DVI-D (dual link) and HDMI 1.4 and there is a USB hub, with dual USB 3.0. There are dual 2W speakers.
The monitor costs €269.
