KOE of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and a subsidiary of JDI, has a new 10.4″ 1024 x 768 module (TX26D203VM2BAA) with output of 1200cd/m² and with a claimed lifetime to half brightness of 70K hours. The module supports an LVDS interface for 6 bit or 8 bit data. The display module supports an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and a storage temperature range of -30°C to +80°C and it weighs 370g. Applications for the display include point-of-sale systems, process control, medical instrumentation and public information terminals.
