Advanced TV reported that Italy is looking at a plan ((PNAF 2018) to create 10 national UHF band multiplexes and four local ones as well as a VHF regional multiplex. The aim is to use DVB-T2 with 256 QAM modulation and with 40 Mbps per multiplex.
