Eizo has announced that its ColorEdge CG247X colour management monitor achieved Idealliance’s Soft Proofing Display and System Certification. The device was certified under this process, which confirmed that its colour stability, tone uniformity and angular viewing consistency meets global industry standards for high-quality proofs.
The CG247X features a built-in sensor to automate the colour management workflow, 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB colour space and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
Analyst Comment
Eizo said that it is the first to get this certification by Idealliance. I don’t know the organisation, but it has a lot of members including plenty that would care a lot about accurate colour. (BR)
