HP Aims at Meeting Spaces with New Collaboration PC

HP Inc has introduced a new collaboration system, the HP Elite Slice for Meeting Rooms G2. As a Slice product, it is modular and uses a B&O branded audio module. There is a far field microphone system with a five metre range. There is an optional Center of Room Control4 which has a 12.3″ diagonal touch screen. The module can support displays using wireless technology although devices can also be connected via HDMI.

There is a version for Skype Room Systems that will cost $1,799, while the Intel Unite version will cost $1,299.

There is also a new 43″ UltraHD conferencing display, the LD4312, which is expected to be available in June at a competitive price of $599. No further details were available at press time.
