Dune Chooses Sigma

Dune HD has chosen Sigma Designs’ SMP8758 SoC and Z-Wave technology to use in its new hybrid media player, the Solo 4k. The ARM-based processor enables UltraHD (via HEVC), IPTV and VoD content playback, while the Z-Wave feature makes the player compatible with the more than 1,500 existing Z-Wave devices on the market today.
