ADB has upgraded its vuTyme 4.4 In Room Entertainment (IRE) system that is designed for hospitality applications, at a range of different tiers from economy to luxury, the company said. The system has three user interfaces and can also operate in a transaction mode to allow the creation of new services and revenue opportunities.
Features include live TV, VOD, PPV, concierge, digital signage and targeted advertisements at the base and additional features such as Searchable Interactive Program Guide (IPG), Over-the-Top (OTT) services access like Screencasting from BYOD, direct-to-guest messaging through the TV, local attractions map with QR Code, Pause/Rewind/Fast-Forward LIVE TV, and (as they always say!) much more.
ADB describes the system as a Set-back box.
