Sigmaintell has forecast that 61.1 million TV panels will ship globally in Q2 2017, up 2.8% on Q1, but down 4.4% on Q2 2016. Small sets (23.6″ and 32″) and mainstream (55″) sets will do well but the sizes in between are not so strong because of price rises. The company expects 65″ panels to stay in tight supply and that prices may rise slightly.
