Vizio has said that it will update its Vizio P and M series TVs to add a SmartTV interface to the sets, which previously worked with mobile devices using Chromecast. The sets will support apps from Amazon, Crackle, Hulu, iHeartRadio, Netflix, Vudu and Xumo or users can continue to use the Chromecast functions.
The update will be available later for the E series.

This is an interesting development. I still think there is a market for HDMI-only sets, but it didn’t occur to me to completely abandon the user interface. (BR)
