ViewSonic has two new 55″ ‘ePoster’ kiosks with support for UltraHD resolution. The EP5540 and EP5540T have scratch-proof tempered glass faceplates, 400 cd/m² of output, 6ms response time and stereo 10W speakers. The T version has 10 point touch. Both have HDMI, VGA, USB, Ethernet LAN (RJ45) and RS232 support and include a media player with 16GB of storage.
The kiosks are designed to allow a PC or alternative media player to be connected in a cradle. Remote display management is supported.
They are available now for now for an MSRPs of $3,199 and $3,999, respectively.
