Vestel announced new TV products under the licensed Toshiba brand in Europe. There are several series.
The Entry series is available in 24″, 28″, 32″, 39″, 43″ and 49″ sizes. Features include three HDMI ports and dual USB ports which can be used for media recording and playback. The 24″, 32″ and 39″ sets have built-in DVD players. The audio supports DTS TruSurround HD.
The Smart Series is available in the same sizes as the Entry series, but adds a 55″ set. Resolutions are HD Ready or FullHD and the sets add support for Toshiba’s smart portal including the Opera TV Store. Miracast is also supported for replay from Android devices. Again, the 24″, 32″ and 39″ sets have built-in DVD players.
The U67 UHD series is available in 43″, 49″, 55″ and 65″ with UltraHD panels and upscaling. The sets also have MEMC and include the smart features including streamed UHD content from Netflix and YouTube. HDMI inputs go up to four and USB ports up to three. Bezels are ultra narrow and sub-woofers are included in the sets.
The U77 series of 49″ and 55″ TVs add wide colour gamut to the features of the U67 sets and extend this to 99% of DCI-P3.
At the top of the range is the X97 OLED TV which also has 99% of DCI-P3 in colour gamut.
